Y’all SLEPT on The Drake Chronicles. Was it the best book I’ve ever read? No. Is there enough plot holes that you could throw the series into the sea and reel in an entire school of fish? Yes. BUT it is exactly what people need right now. Fast paced, fun, and filled with cliches, which means its the perfect read for the single most stressful year of my life. PLUS the plot holes just mean ~fanfiction~.
Now, why I am bringing up a book that I read when I was 13? Because I had a vivid flashback to it when I was trying to do 2 University assessments at the same time and spent like an hour trying to find it cause I couldn’t even remember the NAME, then spent the last week devouring the 6 book series as a ~coping mechanism~, and now all I wANT IS SOME GODDAMN FANFICTION OF IT BUT I CANNOT WRITE.
